![]() ![]() I installed an ssd drive last year 2022 and my machine was going bonkers when i loaded Cubase it was so sluggish, and it was not even the OS drive, I think we need to be sensitive to what is going on with our machine, sometimes we just pull the trigger and update, or down load that software or just install any type of ram, or ssd then after a long time of rock solid stability things start falling apart and we cant roll back to what it was we installed or hardware replaced, so we just blame or say it is the DAW. I have said this before why doesn't every one experience the same crashes or stability ? May projects consist of folders midi edit, audio, and tracking, mix down paste copy and many more common features, i use a controller for volume Qcon pro still with Kontakt 6, not using the latest Syncron player, Sine is very stable like a dream, still using Play old version, UA, player VSL VI Using AMDs but when i was on intel it was still very stable using Samsung ssds for OS and instrument storage ![]() ![]() was very stable on windows 7, 10pro, now windows 11pro PC Use it with VEpro and a good interface and master server. I have been with Cubase for some time not sure if i will leave because it does what i want it to, with out crashing. Click to expand. Will never understand this, all be it is good to experiment with other developers (DAWs), we do it with library's and plugins. ![]()
